ARMED is version control for Ableton Live. Every save that changes the music becomes a version, with a line saying what changed. Try an idea on a variation, then keep it, bin it, or merge it back.

How it works

Save like you always do

Hit ⌘S in Live. When the save changes the music, ARMED keeps it as a version and writes down what changed: reverb decay 1.2 s to 2.4 s, drop moved from bar 8 to bar 12.

Try ideas on the side

Put the risky idea on a variation. The original stays where it was, and you can go back to any version in one click.

Bring two variations of a song back together. Where they clash, you pick. Nothing is written until you say so.
