Plain English, first: ARMED is free to use for anything, including commercial music. Your projects and your history belong to you. Don't redistribute modified builds. No warranty — keep backups. The clauses below say the same thing.

  1. licenseRandev Ranjit (“the developer”) grants you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use ARMED on Macs you control, for any purpose including commercial work.
  2. your contentARMED never acquires any right to your projects, music, or version history. Everything ARMED writes lives on your disk in a documented format and is yours.
  3. restrictionsYou may not redistribute modified copies of the app, remove signing, or misrepresent the software's origin. You may redistribute the unmodified installer freely.
  4. privacyARMED makes no network connections. There is no telemetry, no account, and no data collection of any kind.
  5. no warrantyThe software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from its use, including data loss. Version control is a safety net, not a substitute for backups.
  6. terminationThis license ends if you breach it; sections 2, 4 and 5 survive.
